چکیده
Groundwater protection against geogenic and anthropogenic diffuse pollutants are of preeminent importance for convoying groundwater-dependent hydro-aquatic ecosystems safeguarding human health by securing a safe sustainable water security plan. Mapping groundwater vulnerability to pollution represents topical area research where traditional models suffer from inherent prejudices. A novel approach identify vulnerable zones is thus presented in this study combining Fuzzy Shannon Entropy (FSE) with decision support algorithm replace DRASTIC, GOD other related methods. We proposed contemporary “FSE-GVI″ framework assessing aquifer vulnerability, which the first time expands redesigns seven original geological hydrogeological parameters geochemical factors. Applying such technique weights 13 geo-environmental factors (slope, soil, pH, recharge), (land use land cover, population density, based schemes irrigation) has been optimized. The computed map categorized into very high (10.82%), (23.20%), moderate (29.29%), low (25.02%) (11.64%).The river basin rated on scale excellent, good, poor, poor unfit consumption. model compared 74 quality data, findings demonstrate an excellent correlation between index (r = 0.84), Total dissolve solids (70%), iron (72%), hardness (85%) alkalinity levels (75%).The reveals 27.3 % sampling sites (villages) under 23.21% zone requires competent planning, development, managerial safeguard resources.

متن کاملSaltwater intrusion vulnerability assessment using AHP-GALDIT model in Kashan plain aquifer as critical aquifer in a semi-arid region
Owing to population growth and water demand, coastal aquifers all over the world are over–pumped, resulting in serious problems such as saltwater intrusion. So, in these conditions, assessing the groundwater system’s vulnerability and finding areas with saltwater intrusion potential are vital for the better management of aquifers. In this study, AHP-GALDIT was applied to saltwater intrusion vul...
متن کاملNitrate Pollution and Preliminary Source Identification of Surface Water in a Semi-Arid River Basin, Using Isotopic and Hydrochemical Approaches
Nitrate contamination in rivers has raised widespread concern in the world, particularly in arid/semi-arid river basins lacking qualified water. Understanding the nitrate pollution levels and sources is critical to control the nitrogen input and promote a more sustainable water management in those basins. Water samples were collected from a typical semi-arid river basin, the Weihe River watersh...
